We at Young Innovators provide an opportunity to explore and untangle a problem together. We provide a simple, attractive, and engaging workshops by setting up a milestone to start new things with an inquisitive approach.
Our workshop is focused on understanding the key concepts of electronics imbibed in building of simple circuits, Arduino programming and coding, electronic and communication devices to the advanced robots.
These workshops are structured and designed for a person who is keen in learning electronics and has a brief knowledge on components and structures.
1. BASIC ELECTRONICS
Description - This is a simple workshop to start with, in the journey of electronics,
where concepts of electronics, components and structures are focused on. The
participant will be exposed to circuits and prototyping boards and build few circuits
using the components.
Duration - 6 days (1 hour per day)
Learning Outcomes - The participant will be able to work with different
electronic components and analyze its working in a simple way.
2. ARDUINO PROGRAMMING
Description - This workshop focuses on advanced electronics component like
microcontrollers and trains the participants on arduino hardware and software with
a brief introduction to electronics and components following which they will be able
to build few simple programs in arduino.
Duration - 6 days (1 hour per day)

3. LED AND CIRCUITS
Description - The workshop focuses on electronic components and its working,
the participant will mainly be working with breadboards and LED’s.
Duration - 3 hours.

4. ROBOT BUILDING WORKSHOP
Here we make them build robots and understand the different techniques and concepts behind building the robot.
a) Bi-Pedal Robot
Description- The agenda of this workshop is to build a bipedal robot with servos
integrated with it and learn the concepts of robotics and electronics. The participant
will be introduced to servo motors, arduino programming and will build a bipedal
robot with the kit provided.
Duration - 2 days

b) IR Robot
Description- This workshop focuses on expanding the knowledge of the
participant in the fields of electronics, robotics and components like motors,
sensors. The participant will also build sensor based robots like Obstacle Avoider
Robot/ Edge Avoider Robot/ Line follower Robot/ Hand controlled Robot with the
kit materials provided.

c) Voice Controlled Robot
Description - The aim of this workshop is to introduce the participant to the
world of communication between devices with programming the different devices
that could be used and assemble a voice controlled robot and how to make it work
based on our voice commands with the provided kit.
Duration - 6 hours

d) Bug Robot
Description - Through this workshop the participant will be introduced to robots
and its types and build a switch based robot without microcontroller and
programming with the kit provided.
Duration - 6 hours.

Aim - The primary aim of this course is to introduce students to the field of robotics,
electronics and electrical, to kindle their interest in microcontroller and programming and
to encourage them to take this as a co-curricular activity in the upcoming years.
Duration - Course comprises 22 sessions (60mins each) of both theoretical as well as
activity based sessions
Who Can Enroll
- Students above grade 6 can enroll for the course
Course Description
- History of Robots, Its application and Introduction to robotics.
- Introduction to components and getting hands-on experience with Electronic Components and build circuits using the same.
- Some theoretical Knowledge on motor, Sensors and its application in the model Construction.
- Introduction to Arduino, Coding and some basic programming using the same.
- Assembly and Testing of a Line Follower Robot Model.
- Tuning of the Sensor for the model to work in the desired way.
Course Benefits

The student will be exposed to the idea of coding and would be able to
do programming using Arduino using simple components learnt. The student will
assemble, program, test and run the Line Follower Robot Model.
Aim - To introduce the participant to an intermediate level of robot building and communication between microcontrollers and other devices like Bluetooth.
Who Can Enroll
- Students who have successfully completed module 1 under YI or have knowledge of Arduino Programming.
Duration Course comprises 22 sessions of both theoretical as well as activity based sessions.
